Erik wanted a bike that reflected his needs. The chain stays are 412mm as to keep the back end stiff under power, but to also fit larger tires for rougher roads and full fenders to keep dry during the rainy season in Vancouver . The bottom bracket drop is 65mm, giving slightly more pedal clearance than a road frame, but still allowing the bike to track comfortably while descending.

Rebecca's bike is the answer to the issue many women face when choosing a bicycles - nothing fits properly. Simply put, large manufacturer's don't accommodate small riders. Bike handling and weight distribution are tossed aside to make a bike "fit" and the result is less than ideal.
To meet Rebecca's needs we opted for 650c wheels. This allowed us to maintain proper trail figures and minimize wheel flop, while minimizing toe overlap.

Fork - Custom drawn Wound Up fork
Wheels - 650c Mavic CXP33 to 5800 Hubs

Tim wanted something to carry himself and his cameras along the Sunshine Coast of BC. Large bikes are difficult to find, and rather than go through the process yet again, Tim opted for something custom. He was interested in an upright positioning to observe his surroundings, as well as maintaining a modest and traditional design.

Chris M. and I were strangers living in the same city, riding the same roads and both frequenting Musette Café. When Chris reached out to discuss a custom build we both agreed that hydro disc was the way to go. Built for comfort on the long club rides and reliable braking on quick descents in the North Shore rain, Chris' bike is a perfect mixture of practicality and intentional design.

Nicholas' bike is first and foremost meant to be fun. Big tires and a minimalistic approach, it was inspired by equal parts track bike and monster truck. Nicholas wanted something to cary him daily. Having ridden track bikes on the street for nearly a decade, he wanted something a bit more practical for the ride to work and to the brewery afterwards. Internal routing keeps the hydro disk lines and shift cable hidden, while the Alfine 11 speed hub ensures that no hill shall be walked. All said, this bike makes you feel like a kid.

Amanda approached me about building her a bike that best suited her needs and riding style. Comfort and intentional were key words during the fitting process, whereas weight was secondary - thus she opted for a steel fork over carbon. Regardless, we managed to meet all her requirements while maintaining a unique aesthetic and a low weight.
Frame - Mixture of Columbus Life and Zona throughout.
